Our high-speed wire-cutting machine put into volum production

Our high-speed wire-cutting machine unit has been exported to Thailand, Iran and Nigeria since we made it; the new goods got good fame in the market. Last year for the first time Tianjin Yongjiu Weding Material Co. Ltd. Successfully used it with orthoscopic high-speed wire-drawing unit, realizing operation of high-speed drawing and high-speed cutting, which opened a new way for eliminating backward production in our country’s welding-rod industry. Because of this first production line was in good operation, this company plased another order of five production lines from us. So far two lines have been put into operation in this company.
Also early this year we got new orders from Nangong Haifa Electrode factory, Zhuzhou Xiangjiang electrode Co. Ltd. and one Thailand company, which indicating our welding-rod industry has come into a new era.
Since reform and open policy was carried out in our country, the welding-rod industry has got rapid development, but backward production is still with us. Because of ordinary welding-rod technology’s maturity and fierce market competition, the advanced technology is ignored to be applicated and promoted, and what’s more, waste is huge. Nowadays widely used ordinary cutting machine is of low capacity, high noise, more ends broken, more vulnerable parts and thus more labor used, which hinders the enterprises’ development. So abandoning backward production as soon as possible and improve the whole industry’s level is an inevitable trend.
The high-speed welding-rod cutting machine manufactured by our company has the following features which are accepted by many professionals:
1. High output. Ideally, 3.2mm weding-rod can be reached 1000pc/min in production. But, at present it is 920pc electrode cores per minute, which is equivalent to 5.7m—6m length of electrode. If production is in normal condition, around 1.5 ton of electrode core of 3.2mm can be made per hour.
2. Good quality. The alignment and length of cutting-off can reach the national standard, the cross section have no indentation and hoof-shape dent. Since cutter head’s diameter is big, the rotor inertia therefore is also greatly big, consequently the operating smoothly and stably for 3.2mm welding-rod production.
3. In process of cutting- off, no broken end and core’s usage rate is higher. Of course the problem of card strip is resolved.
4. On alignment and cutting-off the high-speed cutting machine is quite different with ordinary one. The high-speed unit adopts high accuracy special bearing unit to do alignment and cutting- off by sharp knife, eliminating high-decibel noise caused by ordinary cutting machine’s high-speed rotating alignment and press cutting-off. The noise is down to 20 decibel from 90 decibel. the workers’ working condition is improved and meanwhile wokers’ labour intensity is lowered. In weding-rod industry noise problem has longtime troubled wokers’ health and environment. So it’s high time to resolve this problem for the concerned enterprises.
5. Tianjin Yongjiu Welding Material Company’s production practice is an evidence that the capacity of a high-speed unit of cutting and drawing equivalent to 4--6 ordinary ones, using 3 less workers, lowering extruding workers’ labor intensity, thus the production cost is greatly decreased.
 
6. The high-speed cutting unit not only can increase production efficiency, but also can save energy. Compared with the old one around 10-20% power could be saved by new unit’s frequency conversion and velocity modulation.
On the other hand the new one has less vulnerable parts to change compared with the old one. Because of machine structure reason, the old one has more vulnarable parts to change. The new one’s design concept is advanced and structure is reasonable and realiable. The main vulnerable parts are blades.  Compared with the old one the new ones have fewer accidents and need less maintenance.
In summary, one unit of high-speed cutting and drawing may take place of two units of drawing machine, two sets of winding inserters, 4 – 6 ordinary cutting machines. We can see remarkable effect on energy saving, increasing output, lowering consumption and decreasing labor intensity. To eliminating backward production and realising high-speed drawing and cutting, use high-speed cutting unit is your best option.
